50 Books Challenge - May 2012
Jun. 1st, 2012 01:24 pmIn between school holidays, Ascension Day (long week end off) and Whit Monday (day off as well), and various personal downtime, I managed to cram a few more books in this. 'Course in hindsight I tell myself "I should've worked for the Agregation more!", but I was just really tired all the time, so reading was the most I managed to do anyway. I didn't even draw. :(
Been reading a couple of other books, but I'll add them to the June list. For now, I also need to read for my upcoming oral exams...
- J.K. Rowling - The Tales of Beetle the Bard
- Cécile Duquenne - Quadruple Assassinat dans la rue de la Morgue
- Jim Butcher - Grave Peril (Dresden Files #3)
- Patricia Lunneborg - Abortion: A Positive Decision (had that one on my shelf for ages, really)
- Dylan Thomas - Selected Poems (those take time to read - beautiful, but not easy)
- Samantha Bailly - La Chute des Etoiles (the first volume too, but it was a second reading, so I'm not counting it here)
- Brian Sykes - Adam's Curse: A Future Without Men (also one that had been on my TBR list for ages)
- Lauren Oliver - Delirium
- Penelope King - A Demon Made Me Do It & Fire With Fire (ARRs)
- Scott Westerfeld - Uglies (so bad I couldn't finish it, actually)
- Brigit Hache - Ecrire et trouver ses lecteurs
- Philip Roth - The Plot Against America
- Nick Gevers et al. - Extraordinary Engines
- Benjamin Lacombe - Les Contes Macabres
- Tony Bertauski - The Annihilation of Foreverland (ARR)
- Nathalie Hug - L'Enfant-rien
- Paul Auster - Oracle Night
